A big house by the quality of its production, but also by its size and the volume of bottles sold : it is the most important House of Champagne ! La Maison Moët was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët. His son, Claude-Louis, and then his grandson, Jean-Remy, continue to write the story. In 1833, Victor Moët, son of the previous one, and Pierre-Gabriel Chandon, his son-in-law, joined forces for the birth of Moët & Chandon. They develop exports to Europe and then to the rest of the world.
