Champagne Pommery

Champagne Pommery

In 1857, Mr. Pommery turned his attention to the wine trade in Champagne to ensure the future of his daughter Louise. He died a year later. His young widow takes the responsibility of the House and leads it to success and glory. Their daughter, Louise Pommery, married the count and future Marquis Guy de Polignac in 1875. After their mother’s death in 1890, Louis and Louise became managers of the Maison, whose director remained Henry Vasnier for many years.
